Economic Empowerment

Mme Ngum Matilda is another beneficiary of our program.

Matilda is the sole caregiver for her husband who was left disabled after an accident, and her daughter who lives with Down’s Syndrome. She is an extraordinary mother and wife who embodies vibrant resilience and unwavering dedication. Recognizing her indomitable spirit, we supported Matilda by assisting her in establishing a piggery to supplement her income as a daily savings collector. Our contribution of 500,000XAF revolutionized Matilda’s agribusiness, enabling her to cover their rent and provide for her two disabled family members. We are honored to uplift and empower Matilda as she continues her remarkable journey.

With the ongoing crisis in Cameroon, many people are either unemployed or have lost their source of livelihood. The Economic Empowerment program aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to become successful entrepreneurs, and create sustainable income opportunities. By providing training, mentorship, and access to financial support, this program fosters innovation, job creation, and economic self-sufficiency. It not only enables individuals to realize their potential but also contributes to poverty reduction, personal development, and overall socio-economic development in Cameroon and across the African continent. Through these initiatives, individuals are empowered to overcome challenges, unlock their enterprising spirit, and become agents of positive change in their communities.
